About Melissa
Melissa Jordano is a singer, songwriter, performer, and co-managing member of the 5-person, NYC-based a cappella group, Backtrack Vocals.
Melissa grew up in New Jersey and attended Johns Hopkins University, where she sang with the competitive a cappella group, Octopodes. Melissa joined Backtrack in 2015, and through the years she has helped grow Backtrack from a YouTube-only entity to a full-time performing group. Today, Backtrack takes the stage around the nation at performing arts centers, universities, private & corporate events, and schools where the group conducts assemblies, workshops and clinics for students of all ages.

With the onset of the pandemic and Backtrack’s tour dates delayed, Melissa used the extra time to work on her passion of songwriting. She released six singles as well as her debut EP, "Lullabye." She is excited to be touring with Backtrack again and also plans to keep writing original music. When Melissa is not singing, she loves spending time with her husband and two cats, Molly & Arnold.
